The Stages of Essay Writing Process

Essay writing is one academic task that no person can exempt from throughout his/her academic life.  While in school, we used to write short essays that were lesser in words. The word count increases a little in college level. At any level, writing a college essay demands time and efforts. It takes a long process of research and brainstorming that result in a good essay. Besides, it also requires some essay writing tips to write a proper essay but for that you have to find the right source to get the right information.

The essay writing process is divided into two main stages. The first of the two stages is aimed to prepare you for the actual writing process. So let’s take a look at this stage of writing an essay.

Thorough research: Research is the most important element of your essay writing process. It is the major difference between a good essay and a bad essay. But research is not just about getting the information but getting the right information. Besides, you need to do some brainstorming to produce some good ideas to write on.

Outline: Outlines defines the structure of your essay. A meticulous outlines can really make a huge difference in your essay writing process. It can make your essay writing simpler and easy task and this eventually saves you from useless details.

The second stage encompasses the essay writing process that has the same conventional structure of a basic essay i.e. introduction, body and conclusion.

Introduction:  Writing a proper introduction provides a good base to your essay writing and also gives the first impression of your whole essay. Therefore, it is the right point to make an impact and make your reader compelled to read on the whole article. While writing broadly about your topic in the introduction, you can make it interesting by adding some interesting details about your topic.

Body:
The success of your essay greatly depends on how you write the body section of your essay. The body of your essay is written to convince the reader about your point of view. Therefore, it is important to include solid arguments in this section to persuade the readers about what you think. Always, remember to cite some relevant examples and evidence to support your arguments.

Conclusion:
Conclusion wraps up the whole discussion of your essay in a succinct manner. However, the conclusion of your essay should say something meaningful to the readers that can touch the hearts of the readers.
